Desert Sessions has grown out of the mind of Joshua Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, and Eagles of Death Metal. The band is basically a group of musicians from other bands that get together to write and record songs over a short period of time. The last album was written and recorded in a matter of eight days! The quality of the music seems like they would have spent months writing it. One amazing thing about this ever changing band is the diversity of the albums, every song feels completely different.
